PEAHAWAR:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information Technology Shahram Khan Tarakai
announced Wednesday that the government will organize a two-day “Digital Youth
Summit 2014 “from May 21, in order to highlight the various aspects of
information technology.
Addressing
a press conference here, said the summit will be organized by Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa IT Board in collaboration with the World Bank and will be attended
by more than 300 IT specialists and representatives from around the world.
Mr.
Tarakai informed that the event will also include a conference in which experts
will discuss three important IT related issues, including freelancing,
innovation and startups.
The
minister said that the event was aimed at enabling young people of the province
to start online business, showcase their talents and improve IT efficiency.
He
said that a special meeting for children had also planned to become familiar
with computer programming. He said the expo will be open for everyone to participate.
