3G & 4G mobile spectrum licenses to the bidders mobile operating May 22,

Very transparent in the auction held by the
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in April 2014, the government raised
$ 902,820,000 in the first auction for 3G mobile networks and $ 210 million for
the 4G spectrum. Winning mobile operators for 3G licenses include Mobilink,
Ufone and Telenor, and Zong has been declared as successful for both 3G and 4G
licenses.

subscribers and has now been given the latest technologies of mobile
communications to their users. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has
directed the Ministry of Information Technology to accelerate the introduction
of both 3G and 4G in Pakistan at the same time to catch up with the rest of the
world.
The issuance of these licenses will provide Rs.
260 billion in additional revenue to the exchequer and at the same time open up
thousands of job opportunities in the country.
