IT Pakistan: - Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Thursday
formally handed over the licenses for 3G and 4G cellular companies to the four
following a transparent tendering process that retrieves the country in the U.S.
$ 1.22 billion.
A month after the auction spectra of next generation, telecommunications, which has collected more than $ 1.1 billion through the sale of licenses for 3G and 4G, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has praised his government to get the new technology in Pakistan and defined a major achievement.
Speaking at a special ceremony held in
Islamabad on Thursday to hand over spectrum licenses for 3G and 4G mobile
company successful - Mobilink, Telenor, Ufone and Zong - the prime minister
said that RS260 billion will be collected in the treasury every year because of
the new technology. During a ceremony to award the titles, Prime Minister Nawaz
Sharif has said that Pakistan had joined the list of countries with 3G and 4G.
The prime minister stressed the importance of this technology for progress. In
the next four years, this first - of - its - kind technology will create
millions of jobs in the service sect0r, he added.
Commenting on the progress of the country,
Nawaz said that "Pakistan today has developed a lot of respect to
Pakistan, June 5 last year.”
The prime minister also talked a lot about the
various projects that the government was working to avert the energy crisis,
claim them as some of the successful achievements of the Pakistan Muslim League
- Nawaz (PML -N) government.
Nawaz also said that the appreciation of the
rupee against the U.S. dollar has been the greatest achievement of his
government.

Telecommunication Authority Chairman Dr Ismail Shah were present at the
ceremony (IT Pakistan).
In April, the government raised $ 902.82
million from auctioning 3G and $ 210 million from the sale kept by the auction
4G Telecommunication Pakistan. Winning bidders for 3G licenses include
Mobilink, Telenor and Ufone and Zong winning bid for both 3G and 4G licenses.
