IT Pakistan: - The winning companies of 3G/4G auction held in
April are expected to pay tax in advance with 50 % of his salary range on
Tuesday.
This shows that companies had serious reservations about the advance tax will have to pay now. There were three meetings in the Ministry of Finance to discuss this issue. Zong expected to pay the full fee, while the range of Telenor and Ufone both have paid 50 % of the fees already.
The government and the cellular operators have
reached a consensus on the advance of withholding tax, as it was decided that
the cellular carriers will make 10 percent down payment of withholding tax due
to spectrum auctions 3G and 4G in the current month, said an official.
In each auction is from the government, the
income tax ordinance allows the FBR to collect 10 percent of the WHT
withholding agent that sells any asset of the government.
Pakistan award 3G and 4G licenses in all four
cellular operators are on May 22, a new day telecommunications in Pakistan in
2014, an official of the Ministry of Pakistan and telecommunications confirmed.
It was previously planned to grant licenses on May 17, a day when the whole
world is celebrating World Telecommunication Day, but the ceremony has been

been invited to witness the landmark event in the history of telecommunicationsin Pakistan.
