Latest IT News: - Zong , a company China Mobile and
telecommunications network of Pakistan 's fastest growing , ceremoniously
became the first and only 3G and 4G telecom operator in the country, when Prime
Minister Nawaz Sharif has filed a spectrum license for Mobile Dr. Fan Yunjun ,
President and Chief Executive Officer, Zong during a ceremony in Islamabad. The
company had been licensed to a competition held by the Pakistan
Telecommunications Authority (PTA) in April.
Zong has the fastest growth in the subscriber
base in the industry that has enabled the company to win the third place,
overtaking Ufone, but has also achieved another milestone recently through a
customer base of 26 million. Zong is now geared up to provide the benefits of
Super 3G and 4G LTE connectivity to all Pakistan and is now ready to make a
greater difference as a leader in the field of telecommunications.
Speaking to guests at the landmark occasion,
Dr. Fan Yunjun said, "This is a moment of great joy for us. Zong has
entered a field of telecommunications in Pakistan changing and competitive in
2008, from the outset, we have
undertaken a path different from the competition, we have served to inspire and
empower the people of Pakistan with an innovative technology that goes hand in
